King B is finally back with new music to remind her “competition” that she’s BEEN on. Beyonce sings in her new song “Bow Down/ I Been On”

I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife. Don’t get it twisted this is my shit, bow down bitches.

Clearly this song isn’t made for a single, more so of a warning to everyone that’s been saying Beyonce is falling off, and is now just Jay-Z’s wife.

Any thoughts on the song???

“It’s important to release, to let go of everything in good faith and to be led by love not fear” – Jhene Aiko

I swear, every time I’m ready for some new music from Jhene Aiko, she gives it to me!

Yesterday was Jhene Aiko’s 25th birthday and rather than simply popping bottles [or smoking in her case] she released a new song for her fans entitled ‘Everthing Must Go’ via her Tumblr page with a download link. Within the post Jhene Aiko wrote an open letter to her supporters letting them know, she’s not dropping a new mixtape however wanted to give everyone a small life lesson. Find out what the lesson was below:

Alive at 25
What a ride its been !
And I’m still on this wave ….
Steady sailing.
2 years ago, today
On my 23rd birthday I released
Sailing Souls
And was pleasantly surprised by the response .
I didn’t have any expectations…
I really just wanted to share and express myself .
Since then, shit’s been getting crazier and crazier .
Reaching new peaks and hitting all time lows….
While prepping my debut album on Def Jam …. “Souled Out” Read more…

**New Music: Olivia – ‘Where Do I Go From Here’**

You’re kidding me right?

So let me get this straight, not only did Olivia not want to do this song until Erica did it, but they actually released it as a full single? Goodness.

If you seen Monday nights episode of Love And Hip Hop then you already know that in order to get back at Erica Mena, Olivia decided to record her own version of ‘Where Do I Go From Here.’ Personally when I watched the show I didn’t expect to see a single cover on Instagram for her version, but seeing that Rich wants to get money anyway he can, I’m not shocked. Drake may have been one to simply feature on a lot of hit singles recently however after dropping his single “Started From The Bottom,” Drake is back at it again with another soon to be hit song entitled ’5am In Toront.’ He raps;

A lot of niggas PR stuntin’ like that’s the movement
And I’m the only nigga still known for the music
I swear, fuck them niggas this year
I made Forbes list, nigga
Fuck your list, everything’s lookin’ gorgeous
Without me, rap is just a bunch of orphans
But if I stay in the shit, there’s a bunch of corpses
And me and my dread nigga from New Orleans
Stashin’ money like hoarders off multi-platinum recordings

Drake is clearly coming for heads this time around but my question is this, does he really think he’s the only artist “still known for the music?” No? That was just a line in the song to make is sound good? Oh, ok just checking…

Any thoughts on the song??

On a steady roll with his weekly #FallBackslSeason releases’, The Good Sin’s single, ‘Secrets, dropped just a few days ago. With fellow artist Blakk Soul on the track this is one song I can definitely say will be on repeat!

At first listen the track is a strong one and the combination of catchy beats, effortless rap and a hypnotic hook are just the surface of what it brings to the table. Staying true to the theme of decisions and the difference between right and wrong ‘Secrets’ gives listeners another look at life lessons through the eyes of an MC. And as The Good Sin says himself, “Maybe I’m cursed cause I can put it in a verse, but find it hard to pick up the phone.” This was my first time hearing works from artist Blakk Soul and only my second go around with works from The Good Sin however, I do believe that the two of them paired together are music to my ears!!! (pun fully intended)
