Whether or not, you do or you don’t watch the news, I’m pretty sure you heard Obama is for same-sex marriage. I’m also sure that if you’re a Christian, your pastor had some words to say about it Sunday.
Jay-Z is just one of many celebrities that are supporting Obama and his choice to publicly announce being for same sex-marriage. Recently in an interview with CNN, Jay-Z gave his thoughts on if this announcement will cost Obama votes, and his thoughts on same-sex marriage.
On same-sex marriage: “I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. [It] is no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”
I’ve been seeing post about Rita Ora and her new music for a little while now, so I figured it was about time I check the woman out.
Since Rihanna has been hanging out with Chris Brown again, rumor has it that Jay-Z isn’t feeling it and is ready to take all of his attention aways from Rihanna and give it to up-coming pop artist Rita Ora, who’s also signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
Rita’s first single ‘Party & Bullsh*t’ is just one of the many hits to come from her debut album seeing that Jay-Z already has collaborations like Drake, The Dream, and Stargate set up for Rita.
According to Media Take Out Jay-Z has started a “Media Bliz” to promote Rita’s new music
“Rite [Ora] has the same kind of pop appeal that Rihanna does, but she’s younger, and not as crazy.” The insider continued, “[Jay Z] has scheduled to make a bunch of appearances with her, and he’s even going to integrate her into [upcoming THRONES] concert [with Kanye West].”
In case you didn’t know, Jay-Z recently opened a night club called the 40/40 club which was quickly shutdown do to having a crap load of health code violations.
According to a club rep it was all bad timing. Allegedly right before the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene popped their heads in the club to do a routine check the motor in one of the refrigerators blew which gave the illusion of their food being stored improperly:
The motor in one of the refrigerators blew just moments before the health inspector arrived … causing the temperature in the fridge to rise. Berkowtiz says the staff identified the problem immediately and had no intention of serving the food from that fridge.
Berkowitz says the fridge was fixed by noon the next day and the club was permitted to re-open.
He adds … the club lost no business as a result of the issue and their health code grade is currently pending review. Via TMZ
I swear you never know what these artist are dealing with until they come out and say it. Earlier today, Jay-Z released a song entitled ‘Glory’ featuring his newest little angle Blue Ivy Carter. In the song he talks about his excitement for Blue Ivy, and even tells a story of Beyonce having a miscarriage once before:

Last time the miscarriage was so tragic we was afraid you’d disappear

Who would of thought, Beyonce’s been pregnant before but had a miscarriage. Kind of makes you go, oh that’s why she waited so long to say something. I’m going to start this post out with saying I’m not sure how true it is, however I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true. According to TMZ because of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s massive security at Lenox Hill hospital, a man was kept from – seeing his prematurely born twins:
“Three times they stopped me from entering or exiting the NICU and it happened once on Friday — just because they wanted to use the hallway.”
A rep for the hospital told the NYDN she hadn’t personally heard of any complaints. We reached out for comment as well … haven’t heard back. Via TMZ
In my 2 years of blogging I have never seen people so excited about a pregnancy as people were for Beyonce and Jay-z, with that being said, it’s only normal for a few big name celebs to congratulate Beyonce and Jay-Z on the arrivle of their baby girl “Blue Ivy Carter”.
