First lady of Moore Gang, Gift Uh Gab aka ‘Queen La’Chiefah’ took to the stage to headline her first show earlier this month with the backing of her Moore Gang family in full force!
Before Gift Uh Gab took to the stage I asked her how she felt about headlining her first show, in short Gift Uh Gab said she had a lot of mixed emotions, and was simply excited to go on stage.

Yesterday was Jhene Aiko’s 25th birthday and rather than simply popping bottles [or smoking in her case] she released a new song for her fans entitled ‘Everthing Must Go’ via her Tumblr page with a download link. Within the post Jhene Aiko wrote an open letter to her supporters letting them know, she’s not dropping a new mixtape however wanted to give everyone a small life lesson. Music Matters is a platform BET started to help nurture and launch the careers of new artists and has played an instrumental role in helping break artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Elle Varner, Stalley and Grammy nominee Miguel.
Q Dot’s inclusion in the program includes the aforementioned showcase which is free and will be held at S.O.B’s (Sounds of Brazil) May 14th in New York, New York.

It’s been brought to my attention Northwest rapper Stunna Kid has added five new key players to his label InkBoyz, which previously just consisted of Stunna Kid, Mic L, Skinny3x and Young Los. As of recent, Stunna has added Tacoma’s 50 Cow, P Slique, Cashier, SLRM , and Seattle’s YS onto the InkBoyz Label.
When I asked Stunna Kid why he picked these artist in particular, he said it’s because all of these artist have their own style and are in “their own lanes.” Stunna also plans on showing the Northwest that we can move better in numbers, and if we simply put egos aside, we could all get more done:
