Whether or not, you do or you don’t watch the news, I’m pretty sure you heard Obama is for same-sex marriage. I’m also sure that if you’re a Christian, your pastor had some words to say about it Sunday.
Jay-Z is just one of many celebrities that are supporting Obama and his choice to publicly announce being for same sex-marriage. Recently in an interview with CNN, Jay-Z gave his thoughts on if this announcement will cost Obama votes, and his thoughts on same-sex marriage.
On same-sex marriage: “I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. [It] is no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”
I remember when I was on my way to a birthday party and I made a pit stop into 7 Eleven, while in there I seen a tabloid with a photo of a reenactment of what supposedly happened the night Whitney Houston died. The photo showed that Whitney was face down on the floor. However according to Whitney Houston’s sister Pat she was in the tube. When Oprah asked Pat how she got in there, Pat said she doesn’t know how Whitney got in the tube, but she does know they had to get her out.
I’m not going to write too much about Oprah’s interview which aired tonight because I’m currently watching it since I live on the West Coast.
In the first part of the interview Oprah talks with Bobbi Kristina, and Bobbi admits she can still hear her mother’s voice at times. Check out a clip below:

On how distance can be good and bad for her relationship
It’s been 15 days since I’ve seen my husband. That’s a long time for us to go without seeing each other. But I went on this whirlwind of launching the makeup line and my husband’s a basketball player. It’s not like he can say, ‘Hey, I’m not playing in the game today, I’m going to meet up with my wife somewhere.’ We’ve been together for eight years and I think we’ve lasted this long because we give each other space. But there’s also that time where it can be too much space.
On if there’s a misconception with athletes being unfaithful
I wouldn’t say it’s a misconception, because there are a lot of athletes who do live a certain life with women everywhere. So you can’t act like it’s the craziest thing you’ve ever heard, because it is out there. But I’m secure in my relationship. I’m happy with having my own thing going on. I don’t spend all day worrying about what he’s doing. In that sense, I trust him.
Yesterday in Naybesa’s Link Love I posted a link from Necole Bitchie about The Game spitting on a few fans during a concert, and letting his friends feel up on female fans. Apparently Game has been getting tones of backlash since the videos hit the net and spoke with XXLMag.com to clear up the spitting incident.
According to The Game:
“This girl and her dude were at the concert, and we had a meet and greet,” he said. “It was like 100 people, plus we have to get to an after-party, so we [focused on] doing everything on schedule. You shake my hand, I sign one thing from each person and take a picture with each person. So, they wanted to hold up the line, and there’s other people behind ’em, and we got time constraints. They acting crazy, [saying], ‘we paid all this money and we can’t even chill!’ I guess they wanted to chill, go back to the hotel and smoke with a nigga and be my kid’s godfather. So, security had to take them out because they got a little crazy.”
“We go to the after-party and here are these same two people,” the Interscope signee continued. “They by the VIP [area], kind of doing the heckling shit, and throwing shit, throwing Red Bull cans. But ain’t none of it hitting me. The dude starts spitting loogies and drinking shit and spitting it. The shit started getting closer and closer to where we was at. He keeps spittin’ and finally, the fuckin’ shit hit me. So I went over and I fuckin’ spit.” – Via XXL
