For some reason I already knew Nicki Minaj had long hair. It truly drives me up the wall to know some people think all Black Women don’t have hair and we “have” to wear these weaves.

Nicki Minaj posted up a quick “length check” with the caption:

“Long hair, don’t care. Hang Time! I’ma wear it out when it touches my ass!”

Personally, being someone who’s hair is at collarbone and goodness knows what in the back, I wear wigs and weaves all the time, why? Because I simply don’t have time to do my hair. Nicki Minaj is forever on the road, doing music videos, and interviews. The last thing she needs is someone frying and dying her hair to where she will soon have none.

With that being said, you may have questions about her butt and nose, but at this point that hair under the wig is legit!

Any thoughts?

I really tried to stay away from the subject of Gabby Douglas and her hair, but seeing that she’s recently commented on this disastrous subject I felt the need to touch on it just a little bit.

By now you should know Gabby Douglas has gone from being a normal 16-year-old Gymnast, to making history as the first African-American woman to win the All Around in the Olympics. While I was personally making Instagram photos, and happy tweets about Gabby Douglas and her talents, a few other woman [and men] were focusing on Gabby’s [who they call "The Flying Squirrel"] hair. I honestly don’t know how you could possibly watch her fly across your screen and still have something negative to say about her, but I’ll talk more about that in a video.

Below is what Gabby Douglas has to say to all the critics who are for some odd reason, so concerned about her hair:

Friday Swizz Beatz tweeted/instagramed the photo above of Alicia keys with the caption “My Bond Girl:) 007 AK47″ below it. The photo pretty much shows that Alicia Keys wasted no time getting rid of that baby weight.

As for her hair…..

So I said I was going to do my “Confessions Of A Curly Girl” in a video form but right about now I dont see that happening so I think I will just type out my thoughts until further notice.

Now….since I hit 1 year natural, I have gotten more and more lazy with my hair. Like it’s been a good 3 weeks [maybe 2 weeks] since I got off my butt and washed my damn hair. And dont get my started on how long its been since I took the time to do a real protein treatment. Like honestly I dont know what my issue is, all I do know is that I dont feel like dealing with my hair at this point.

I think the reason I dont feel like doing my hair is because well… I’m bored with it. I have to be honest with you “newly naturals” when I say that the excitement of being natural wont last forever, well…. at least for me it didnt. I mean after a while I personally realized that its just hair, and to keep is on top of my hair and growing like I want for it to be I have to take care of it…. But that’s about it LOL.
