While at the Rich Kids Brand Fall Launch Party I ran into the women to inspired me to start blogging about NW artist and 206/253 events, Miss Casey Casey. If you live in the Town and your trying to get your music out there Casey Carter is the girl you want to get in contact with. Not only does she blog about NW artist, but she host a lot of major parties, host her own Mixtapes, she even recently interviewed Waka Flacka.

In the interview I asked Casey, why she focuses on NW music and events, how she got started, what she regrets in life plus I even got the scoop about her last name. Check out the interview above and make sure you check out MissCaseyCarter.com because if you think I’m trying to put Seattle on the map you haven’t seen what this girls ben up too.

This weekend is going to CRACK!!! Well…at least if you live in Seattle it will. The 206 is doing a really good job now a days when it comes to supporting our local artist. This Saturday at Flight Super Lounge, PARTYCREW HKG presents ‘Rap The Runway: Young Trace Life After Ball Still Ballin’ Mixtape Release’ party and I have to say the line up for this event is ON POINT! Aside from Young Trace having his mixtape release party [which should be enough to get your ass there anyway!] , you also get to see Rookie Snow, Amirah Karim, Q Dot, Nick The Slic, Martea Johnson, Miss Erika Jay, Di Alo PLUS local clothing lines such as Dinjeez, Hip Hop Junkies and Swagger and Young Apparel.

This event will be hosted but none other then Tari Free with DJ Headline on the 1s and 2s. Seaspot will also be in the building so you know its goin down.

Local artist SteezieNasa Aka Psteez’s music video for ‘Like A Movie’ was added to the unsigned hype section of World Star Hip Hop today which of course means that they are on the front page.

Check out the video below!!!

My buddy D from GetWETCITY.com recently had a chance pick the brain of local based rapper Logics. D topics from, what made Logics buckle down in music to the craziest thing a fan has every done, check out the interview below:

What he needs in the studio:

Vitamin water, Sour patch kids, a dope beat and a real homie (no dick riders) so they can tell you if the stuff your recording is actually good.

Logics tells his definition of “success”:

Success for me isn’t fame and it isn’t even wealth. It’s comfortability, if you can’t even survive off a day to day with your income that’s not success but in the same having thousands of dollars doing something that makes you can’t sleep at night that’s not success, it’s a balance of livin a well balanced life, to me that’s success.

Logics lets it be known he’s NOT a player in the NW music game:
