Timothy Dampier

The F**K????!!!!????

The thought that this kind of mess goes on in my own damn city really makes me sick, not to mention I’ve personally been in churches with this man. EEEWWWWW! Makes my skin crawl.

Former Seattle church minister and singer Timothy Dampier was finally sentenced to 22 years for molesting and raping damn near a dozen boys from 1997-2011.

Apparently this sicko met all of his victims while working as a minister and musician at different local churches, along with different Seattle-area youth organizations. Ironically Timothy Dampier was working at the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club when the allegations of him raping and molesting little boys came out.

Dampier met his victims working as a minister and musician at several local churches and Seattle-area youth organizations. Dampier had been employed by the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club when the allegations came to light.

“It makes me so mad he would use the church to grab and take advantage of kids, taking them into your private space; it makes me sick,” said Kia Pierce, the sister of one victim. Read more…

This event was hosted by Neema, with guest performances by Dyme Def, Feez The Germ, G-U, and Jay-Key at Neumos Seattle.

On January 23, 2013 YMCMB’s member Mystikal came to Seattle Washington to give my city a concert that I’ll never forget. Not only did he take to the stage giving us more than his all, but he took PLENTY of photos at the end of the event, gave me a video drop, and talked to Sermon of thesermonsdomain.com about how his hit single ‘Shake It Fast’ was started. I have to say, I was surprised to find out it only took him 2 hours to write the song!

If you don’t live in Seattle [or watch my Youtube videos even though you should be] you probably don’t know that people have been acting a completely donkey out here from the murders, to the home break ins not to mention all the fights that have been breaking out at clubs.

Local artist Juga Hill decided to utilize his lyrical gift to get his voice and opinion out to his listeners, and hopefully shake some sense into them.

I warn you now, the song is deep so please don’t just let it go over your head. Take a second, sit down, log off Twitter, Facebook OR Instagram, and actually listen to the words he’s saying.

Check Juga Hill’s music video for ‘Evil Actions’ above!

I recently had the opportunity to do a “Twinerview” [Twitter Interview] with local 206/253 artist Peta Tosh, after listening to his newest EP ‘Take Off Part 2.’ By the end of the “Twinerview” I’d come to the conclusion we must do a in person interview sooner than later. But until then, find out what Peta Tosh needs when it comes to writing his music, where he gets his inspiration, and what he wants his listeners to get from ‘Take Off PT2′:

Naybesa: As a whole, I feel like when you listen to “Take Off pt 2″ we get a good sense of who you are and a little of your day-to-day life. What did you want your listeners to get out of this EP?

Pete Tosh: I wanted the people to get more familiar with me and my styles in music, I just wanted it to be a mixtape vibe but still original songs. My last project came out last January, so I owed the people new music, but at the same time wanted to time it right…. They’ll never have to wait a year to get music from me. I’ll be more consistent.

Naybesa: Good to know! My iPod was definitely in need of some new PT.

Your songs “Mercy” and “When No One Cares” are pretty deep songs with lots of confessions. What was going on when you wrote them?

Of all things….. You live in Seattle Washington, did you REALLY have to mess up the Starbucks???? o_O

In case you just happen to live in a cave somewhere and didn’t know that a bunch of ninja looking protesters gave downtown Seattle the business on Monday May 1st also known as “May Day”; then I’m here to give you a quick briefing with a few pictures [thanks to my girl Ashle,] to show you a little bit of what went down.

But before I get down to what happened in our lovely Evergreen city, check out the origin of May Day below:

- May Day on May 1 is an ancient Northern Hemisphere spring festival and usually a public holiday;[1] it is also a traditional spring holiday in many cultures. – Via wikipedia

- Workers in scores of nations each year mark the first of May.  Socialists and practicing communists wave red banners in the streets. Throw in a few anarchists and you have the makings of May Day, the traditional International Workers’ Day celebrated around the world. – Via nbcchicago

Just when I thought that after club fights were over, someone gets stabbed with a screw driver…. SMH

Last night on the  6000 block of Airport Way South, during a two on one fight, one man was stabbed in the back with a screw driver and taken to Harborview Medical Center.

According to the Police, the fight started after a man was asking others if they had an extra cigarette, which is pretty normal for when clubs let out. Soon the man was approached by two very drunk men that were already harassing others throughout the night.

At some point the two drunks chased the man down Airport Way, knocking him to the ground. Seems to me the man on the ground had a not today attitude, because he stabbed one of his attackers in the back and got the heck out of there.

Suspects were found by Airport Way South and Nebraska.

Seattle firefighters responded to the scene and treated the 24-year-old suspect for a minor stab wound to his back. He was then taken to Harborview Medical Center. The second suspect was released to his step-father. Not long after his release, officers ended up arresting him for DV-Assault and Property Damage. – Via Komo4

Police have yet to find the victim.

My thoughts? If you can’t handle your alcohol, don’t get wasted and think you can just randomly jump someone. You never know, you might get a screw driver in your back.
