Of all things….. You live in Seattle Washington, did you REALLY have to mess up the Starbucks???? o_O
In case you just happen to live in a cave somewhere and didn’t know that a bunch of ninja looking protesters gave downtown Seattle the business on Monday May 1st also known as “May Day”; then I’m here to give you a quick briefing with a few pictures [thanks to my girl Ashle,] to show you a little bit of what went down.
But before I get down to what happened in our lovely Evergreen city, check out the origin of May Day below:
- May Day on May 1 is an ancient Northern Hemisphere spring festival and usually a public holiday;[1] it is also a traditional spring holiday in many cultures. – Via wikipedia
- Workers in scores of nations each year mark the first of May. Socialists and practicing communists wave red banners in the streets. Throw in a few anarchists and you have the makings of May Day, the traditional International Workers’ Day celebrated around the world. – Via nbcchicago

I’m a couple of days late, but because I actually like this video I felt the need to post it anyways.
Rihanna recently dropped her video for “Where Have You Been” and I have to say, Rihanna is stepping it back all the way up. I honestly can’t remember the last time Rihanna did any real choreography like this in a music video, but I know everyone was happy to see her doing more than just winding her hips for 4 minutes.
Check out the video below:

How would you feel if you paid $20 general admission, or $40 VIP and the artist you paid to see not only was 2 hours late, but when he hit the stage decided to lip sing his way through the set.
Chiiillleeeeeeee, during a recent spring break concert Jeremih received a second shower, courtesy of a fan who was upset about Jeremiah being late and lip singing his hit single “Down On Me.” Check out the video below:

ABOUT DAMN TIME!
I’m not sure how long this will last, but I do know about 90% of people are happy Rihanna finally has black hair again. The blonde was a definite no go for Rihanna.
The photo above was taken during Rihanna’s ‘Where Have You Been’ video shoot:

All I have to say is I’m so proud of Seattle’s Macklemore for making the 2012 XXL’s Freshman Class list. This extremely talented man is forever putting Seattle on the map.
Check out what Macklemore had to say about making the list below:

I honestly didn’t know he had an album coming out soon, but you better believe I will be keeping my eye out for it.

Something about taking a break from romance makes you focus on self. There’s no longer strong arms to hide behind. Instead I stand in the mirror and face reality…I need to get my life together. So now that I’ve declared I’m “doing me” and out “doing my own thing” I had better get busy. Read full post at Cotten Kandi
