I can’t remember if it was a radio interview, or if it was a magazine interview, but a couple of months back Vince said the reason Tamar’s skin gets lighter is because she has vitiligo like Michael Jackson. After Vince said that, the subject wasn’t really touched on again until now. In a recent interview with Ebony Magazine, Tamar Braxton opened up about being diagnosed with vitiligo, and her reasoning for not talking about it.

Anybody with skin issues knows that that’s a very sensitive subject. And that’s why I’ve never shared that I have Vitiligo, because I do. I’ve always had it, since I was a young girl.
