New Video: Ciara – ‘Body Party’

I know I’m not the only one that wants to hit up a classic house party after seeing this music video!

Not only did Ciara show us her love for her boo Future in her new ‘Body Party’ music video, but she also gives us a few dance pointers; it almost reminds me of the ‘Promise’ video where the dancing was so sexy but not trashy. One thing I can appreciate about Ciara is she knows how to give sexy without looking trashy.

With that being said, I need to go watch a few slow twerk videos because I must learn!

New Video: Miguel ft Kendrick Lamar – ‘How Many Drink’ REMIX

When I found out Miguel not only did a music video for his single ‘How Many Drinks,’ but he also put Kendrick Lamar in the remix/video, I could have fallen out of heaven to see the video and hear the song. My issue is, my excitement may have been my downfall seeing that the video is nothing spectacular.

Don’t get me wrong, Miguel and Kendrick are both doing their thang in the video, and yes the video is of good quality and yes, we all know Miguel likes to do things that aren’t typical however…. I think I can speak for a few others when I say it’s annoying when the music video doesn’t really go with the song. In my personal opinion, rather than taking the easy route and having a ‘Suite & Tie’ style music video, why not have a sexy girl [I wouldn't mind him using the lady of his life Naz again] all in the video that you’re trying to get at? Where’s the bar? Where’s the club? Unless he’s spotted someone on stage in that empty room, this video was almost like a filler to make his fans happy.

Whatever the case maybe for the music video, it can never tarnish my love for the song.

Video Teaser: Ciara – ‘Body Party’

I know I’m not the only one who feels as if Ciara is starting to grown on me again with this song because Binky from MissJia.com said the same thing on Instagram today along with my girl Juicy Carter of MissJia.com.

Ironically Ciara picked 106 & Park to air the preview of her music video for her newest hit single ‘Body Party,’ with features cameos from Jazze Pha, Ludacris, Trinidad James, and of course, Ciara’s new man Future, who’s sitting pretty comfy on that pool table as he watches her dance. But then again, wouldn’t you?

The video gives a nice TLC house party type of feel full of sexy dancing and a flirty Ciara, and not to mention some where in that video is Joesline of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

New Video: J.Cole ft Miguel – ‘Power Trip’

J.Cole always has the best timing!

Earlier J.Cole dropped his music video for his hit single [which I still keep on repeat] ‘Power Trip,’ featuring the very hansom Miguel!

The video is dark, and consist of a road trip and Miguel being killed and buried in a forest.

Maybe it’s just me, but I did expect the video to be different. Not a completely different subject, but I did think we would have seen J.Cole’s love interest more seeing that “she” is the one who put him on a “power trip.” However J.Cole decided he would show how love can quickly turn in to obsession which leads to murder!  Read more…

New Video: Cam The Mac – ‘Keyed Decisions’

Earlier this week NW artist and Moor Gang member Cam The Mac dropped his music video for his new single ‘Keyed Decisions.’ The song is featured on his latest project 2HUNNIDx6 which can be downloaded and previewed below!

The song gives me a slowed down smoky room feeling while I get a few laughs from the “Martin” and “Friday” movie clips.
