“Sometimes it doesn’t work—and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love,”

Jennifer Lopez aka J. Lo recently did her first interview with Vanity Fair for their September issue where she talks about her being a “hopeless romantic”, why she wanted the divorce, her optimism for love, and her thoughts on marriage:

On what she realized before untying the knot:

“I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love,” Lopez explains, describing the passage that has brought her to her current state of mind. “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself—if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”

im going to start off with the good stuff so people dont think im being negative. i must say im very happy for Gabby aka Gabourey Sidibe for making it on the cover of Elle Magazine for their Favorite 25-somethings issue. it seems like just when you forget about her she reminds you that she’s not going anywhere. and i must say congrates on not letting people forget you.

however i got a few issues with this damn cover, first of all the lace front they got her rocking looks like the ones that are on cheap barbie dolls. i dont understand how they can place her face on the front of a magazine in such a beautiful dress, but have her wig looking so fake that light can melt it. im just saying it wouldnt be me.and if thats not bad enough WHERE IS THE OTHER L IN ELLE??? im…just…sayin…
