I DON’T LIKE IT!

Ciara dropped a remix to her hit single “Body Party,” with the help of her boo Future and, B.o.B. I feel like B.o.B’s part of the song is dope, the beginning with Future is dope, but the sped up chorus sounds a hot unmixed mess. You can clearly tell that Future, and B.o.B’s parts were recorded to go with the beats they rapped two, however Ciara’s parts almost makes it sound like a totally different song.

New Video: Ciara – ‘Body Party’

I feel like the slow groove parts are perfect, but the slow groove mixed with the up temple would actually annoy me while dancing at the club. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I’ll still be bumping the original.

“When you’re soaked in tears for years, it never airs out. When you make pain look this good it never wears out…”

Kelly Rowland took a page out of K.Michelle’s book for her new single ‘Dirty Laundry,’ where she talks about being jealous of Beyonce, and being beaten in a past relationship. She sings:

While my sister was on stage killing it like a mother
I was enraged feelin’ it like a mother
Bird in the cage, you would never know what I was dealing
we went our separate ways but I was happy she was killing it
Bittersweet, she was up I was down.
No lie I feel good for her, but what do I do now?
Meanwhile, this n-gga putting his hands on me
swear y’all don’t know the half of this industry.

Now in one part of the song Kelly sings about being in an abusive relationship and people quickly assumed she was talking about her ex Roy Williams. Well Roy took to Twitter to clear that up real quick!

I swear Beyonce never does features, so to see she did one for her good friend The-Dream who brought out the ratchet side of Beyonce that we all love, just warms my little heart!

The-Dream called on Beyonce and 2 Chainz for his song ‘Turnt’ where Beyonce sings “beat it up till I black out.”

We’ll all have the pleasure of hearing the full song on May 28 when The-Dream’s new album IV Play hits iTunes. Personally I can’t wait hear what 2 Chainz bring to the song.

Check out the song and post your thoughts below!

I’m so happy that Solange Knowles is releasing new music, more constantly. Recently Solange hit up Kendrick Lamar for a remix to her hit song ‘Looks Good With Trouble.’ Check out the song below and post your thoughts.

I love this song and I’m loving this Solange! Yes ma’am, please keep the music coming!

In other Solange news, she recently sat down with Complex Magazine to talk about raising her song, being an independent artist, and her fashion choices. Read the full interview over at Complex, and see my favorite photos from the swimwear photo shoot below! Read more…

“Now I’m single with my singles, I’m ok. But my singles not saying what I really want to say” #dirtylaundry Via Kelly Rowland’s Instagram

I’m not sure where this Kelly Rowland has been hiding at all these years, but I’m happy she’s found her own “niche.”

Yesterday I seen Kelly Rowland post the photo above as a teaser for her new single ‘Dirty Laundry,’ which is set to hit iTunes on May 21st. The song was written and produced by The-Dream, and according to Kelly Rowland:

“It’s the first time I’ve been so stripped away and naked,” [Rollingstone interview]

I can’t wait to hear the full song!

ABOUT TIME!

Tamar Braxton’s newest single ‘The One,’ which is a sample of The Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Juicy,’ has only been out since Monday and is already #2 on iTunes charts:

“You know very well who you are / you’re the only one, you got my heart / and you had a few, boy one too many / but I’m the only one, to make wake you up.”

I love her voice! I don’t know what people are saying she sounds just like Keyshia Cole, some others are saying she should stick to sounding like Toni Braxton, all negative and unnecessary things to say when someone is trying to live their dreams. But then again, seeing that her single is #2 on the iTunes R&B charts already, the song can’t be that bad now can it?

“The One” will feature on Tamar Braxton’s album that’s set to drop later this year.
