Get your tickets here!!!! [or at the door]

See you Friday!!! :)

For all of my local Rihanna fans, in case you haven’t already heard Rihanna is starting a new tour ‘Diamonds World Tour,’ and one of the legs just happens to be coming to Seattle, Washington.

Not sure about ticket prices but I do know she will be here in Seattle on April 3rd at the Key Arena and tickets go on sale September 21st.

Will you be there?

I recently had the amazing opportunity to watch Juga Hill live on stage doing what he does best. From the first to the last song, Juga Hill always made sure to keep the crowd engaged, entertained, and hype.

As someone who’s never seen Juga Hill perform his music before, I was very pleased! One thing I like to look for when I go to a concert (no matter who the artist is) is how the artist interacts with the audience, and it they’re able to keep people from going to the bar and having a smoke break during they’re performance.

One thing I will tell you about the Seattle crowd is if we don’t like your music you’re going to have a very empty front row, in Juga Hill’s case, I think the photo up top, and the video footage below will speak for themselves.

I honestly had an amazing time! Not only did I get to see a good concert, but I met a lot of fun people. When it comes to Nectar, I’ve realized it’s an amazing place for networking.

I have to say, this generation of kids are something I just can’t explain. Not only do they get to grow up in a time where during class they send text messages rather than passing notes in the hallway, but they’re just plain disrespectful.

On this weeks episode of JERKTV, Freddy E tackles the subject of “Kids These Days.” It’s crazy to think when I was growing up it was abnormal to sit in the house and watch TV all day. For that matter, I wasn’t even allowed to sleep in passed 9am, my Grandmother was not one for letting you sleep your day away.

I’m not going to say all kids don’t know any better, because some of the teenagers now have more sense then the parents that raised them. But I will say for the ones that don’t have any since….. Lord help us in 15 years from now.

If you’re from Washington State then I’m pretty sure you’re familiar with The Bite Of Seattle. Personally, I haven’t gone in years because the last time I went [3 years ago] to The Bite it was pretty basic stuff. Walk around to the different overly priced food tents, and then listen to bad live music as you try to find a spot to eat in peace.

I’m sad to say this year was no different, to the point I noticed all the food tents were even in the same place they were 3 years ago. I guess my point is, after all these years, they haven’t found a way to make The Bite Of Seattle worth going to every year. If all you’re getting is food that you can get whenever you want, whats the point in fighting through traffic to get all the way down there and do the something you did last year, and they years before that. The least they could do is add in a concert, bring in some sort of head liner. I’m not saying you have to grab Beyonce or anything; but last I checked, Frank Ocean was just here. Why didn’t they try to get him to just perform at The Bite??? Maybe have a different performer each day….. SOMETHING!

By now I’m pretty sure you know I won’t be going next year or the year after that. I think once every 3 years is good enough for me.

A word from Naybesa…… <3

In case you haven’t noticed, since I took my most recent 2-3 month hiatus after I started working, I haven’t been “recapping” local Seattle events. With that being said, Seattle I apologize and it will never happen again :)
