Honestly, the title [and photo] says it all. Back in 2010, two African-American men were falsely arrested, and following the arrest the cop threatened to make up charges on the two men.
I truly can’t with my city right now. Either its people shooting up clubs, or cops abusing their “powers.” Check out the video below, and pass it around so everyone knows of this BS.

I’m really trying to get better at covering the local news here in Seattle, whether it be good or bad, so here goes…
Lately I’ve been getting woke up to news about fatal shootings, and today was no different. Sunday morning [around 2am] after popular night club Republiq in Sodo let out there was a huge shooting that left one dead, and two injured.
When the police responded to the shooting, a crowd already gathered and was as the police are describing ”highly chaotic.” One 25-year-old male was shot in the abdomen and rushed off to Harborview Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The other two victims [both in their 20's] suffered head injuries plus a few cuts and bruises. One was also taken to Harborview, however did not have life-threatening injuries, while the other was treated and released at the scene.
Police said witnesses “were less than forthcoming with investigating officers.” In other words, there’s still no word on a suspect.
I’m not sure if some of you remember what it was like is 2008 at the beginning of the year, but that’s what 2012 is starting to feel like with all these shootouts. I don’t know what’s going on with my city, but I’m going to need for you all to stop messing things up for the rest of us that just want to have a good time.
Friday night was a night to remember if you live in the Seattle area. Not only did Mike Epps bring his “I’m Still Standing Tour” here to Seattle but, thanks to Xcess and Suave Entertainment, we also had an amazing after party at Citurs Ultra Lounge in downtown Seattle, where everyone was able to party it up with Mike Epps himself. From the moment I arrived the club had an amazing vibe, and it was clear everyone there just wanted to have a good time.
I want to say Mike Epps arrived around 11:30pm, which was a good thing because most celebs arrive at the club no sooner then 12:00am. The moment Mike Epps stepped in the door he was taking pictures with fans, and even danced with a few. It’s clear he genuinely has love for his fans and supporters.
I normally wouldn’t take the time to write about this seeing that I was there covering the event, HOWEVER because everyone is now talking poop about the venue and not simply the bafoonish people who don’t know how to act when they leave the house, I felt it was a must.
Last night Citrus Ultra Lounge on Lake Union was used for the official Mike Epps after party. If you attended this even, you know for a fact that until 130 [which is about when clubs let out] everyone had a great time. Everyone was dancing, plus Mike Epps even danced with a party goer or two.
I left at 1:20 am because my parking was about to expire so I missed the bafoonery that went down inside the lounge. According to Komo4 [and a few people on Facbook ] at about 1:25 ish a big fight broke out within the club, glasses and chairs were thrown, a few women got in the middle somehow which clearly didn’t help the situation; and bouncers kicked several people out.
Immediately after the fighters took it outside the lounge over to a parking lot where according to police at least 30 gunshots were fired.
This post is a little on the late side but in my eyes it was such a big step for Seattle/Tacoma entertainment world that it’s a must to shine a light on.
Casey Carter from MissCaseyCarter.com decided that it was time to showcase and recognize all of the different talented artist, brands and DJ’s here in the 206/253 area. Instead of just posting up your normal interview on her site she decided to be a little different and throw an awards show. On January 15th Casey Carter pulled everyone together and put on for our city hard-core!
