If you haven’t heard about Artis Hughes aka “upper cut bus driver” then I honestly don’t know what to tell you seeing that the video of Hughes “upper cutting” 25-year-old Shidea Lane went viral.

Yesterday Artis Hughes willingly surrendered himself to the police after police decide to file chargers on both Hughes and Lane.

Hughes is now being charged with a misdemeanor assault charge and has since be released for jail on bail.

When Hughes arrived to the police station there was a crowd of supporters waiting for him along with news cameras. Hughes described his feelings toward the support he received as “heartwarming”

Shidea Lane of course is being charged with disorderly conduct.

Seeing that these two wont be in court until next month, I wonder what the ending out come will be because I have a feeling we won’t hear about it.
