New Music: Aaliyah ft Drake – ‘Enough Said’

As we all know, Drake has this small obsession with Aaliyah, so seeing that he’s making music using a few of her unheard vocals isn’t too much of a shock. Check out Aaliyah featuring Drake ‘Enough Said’ below:

Personally, I think the song is okay. It’s definitely nothing to run to iTunes for. My only question is, did Timbaland give his approval for this record? When I went onto Concreteloop.com, which is where I originally seen the song posted, my initial thought was ‘Can he do that?’

During an interview with The Breakfast Club on New York City’s Power 105 radio station in April, Timbaland made it clear that he and Missy Elliott should both be involved in any Aaliyah project in the works.

“I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy,” Timbo said, referring to reports that Drake was manning the project. “The proper way for him to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. The best decision, what the fans would want to see is all three of us. It can’t be something to make money off of ’cause I think it’s wrong to make money off the dead.” – Via – MTV Rapfix

Well…. I guess we will have to wait and see if Timbaland or Missy have to say anything about the song.
