Of all things….. You live in Seattle Washington, did you REALLY have to mess up the Starbucks???? o_O

In case you just happen to live in a cave somewhere and didn’t know that a bunch of ninja looking protesters gave downtown Seattle the business on Monday May 1st also known as “May Day”; then I’m here to give you a quick briefing with a few pictures [thanks to my girl Ashle,] to show you a little bit of what went down.

But before I get down to what happened in our lovely Evergreen city, check out the origin of May Day below:

- May Day on May 1 is an ancient Northern Hemisphere spring festival and usually a public holiday;[1] it is also a traditional spring holiday in many cultures. – Via wikipedia

- Workers in scores of nations each year mark the first of May.  Socialists and practicing communists wave red banners in the streets. Throw in a few anarchists and you have the makings of May Day, the traditional International Workers’ Day celebrated around the world. – Via nbcchicago

Above is the now boarded up windows [and doors] of the T-Mobile store on what I believe to be 6th and Pine, next to Old Navy and Pacific Place, along with the boards to fix American Apparel, and a few of the men cleaning up this mess that should have never happened.

Honestly I thought I would have more to say about this hot mess that made the Mayor of Seattle call for  ”emergency order” but I have to say, I’m just speechless because I don’t understand what the whole point was.

From what I’ve been told, and from the things I’ve seen online, for the most part it was about jobs, which is why they targeted all the major corporations downtown. In my opinion, that’s all good and dandy, but if your pissed because there are no jobs, what in the world makes you rreeaalllyyyy think, after doing some mess like this someone will want you working for them? Lets be real, even if there were jobs [which in the city of Seattle there are plenty, if you just take the time to look!] no one is going to bring you on after doing something so dumb. At that point, you’re not making anyone money, your costing people money.

Welp, all I have to say is Everett, you better get ready, because it looks like they’re coming for you next. But in the mean time in between time, check out a few more photo my girl @AsheAriane took for me after the Seattle May Day Mayhem settled down below:

  3. This is one of the good reasons why I keep returning to this web site. This blog post is a great deal of information and I cannot wait to commence using them. I love how it¡¯s noticeable that you took plenty of time and effort in investigating. I hate it when I read on articles that are 600 words long but are incomplete in substance. It is like they just want to wind you in and they are not really offering something productive. So appreciate it!
