New Music: Amber Rose – ‘Fame’

A couple days ago I announced Amber Rose would be dropping her first single today and here it is!

In Amber Rose’s first single ‘Fame’ she talks about how she wasn’t ready for the “fame” and being a “over night sensation”. She says “two years, ago just a girl” which is true. I remember when Amber Rose first hit the scene with Kanye, she wasn’t that big of a deal… until people realized she had no hair and used to be a stripper. All of a sudden she has her own fan base, and wears designer clothes:

“Scrutinized,
being blindsided by all the lights,
The questions one made up
like these rumors were made up,
Can’t shop for clothes.
or by some cigs
Without paparazzi looking for a flick.
This is a new situation.
You’re an overnight sensation.”

Of course Wiz is on the track which is just the cutest thing in the world to me. It shows that he supports her no matter what she does. Check out the song below:

Personally, after I listened to the song a few times, and truly listened to what she had to say I actually like the song. Its for sure better then what I thought it would be. I read what some people have said about the song, and of course a lot of it’s negative, but in my opinion people would be saying different is it was someone else. The simple fact that people already dont like her, makes it to where they prejudge the song and automatically come out swinging. Kind of like they did when she stepped away from Kanye and started doing her own thang.
