I first heard about this rumor on my facebook, and then I seen it trending on twitter. That was when I was like okay, WTF is going on. Because lets be real, after you have been blogging for over 2 years you quickly stop getting all worked up over rumors unless you know for a FACT that there is a statement to back that up.

So I click the Will and Jada trending topic and these are just a few of the tweets that was posted….

But for some reason I was still like ummm this doesnt make any damn since. I mean the Jennifer Lopez’s divorce didnt make any since either but in my book this is different. And so far my hunch was right.

Turns out that this rumor was startted by an anonymous tip that In Touch Weekly received saying Will and Jada were separated after 13 years of marriage, however the people over at Radar Online are shutting this rumor down after getting in touch with a family member of Will and Jada, who say’s “No way are they splitting up” :

This is absolutely not true,” a family member –who did not want to be identified – exclusively told RadarOnline.com Tuesday about the rumors that the couple has broken up. “No way are they splitting up. They are totally together and are not separating,”. A separate source that works very closely with Smith at his production company, Overbrook Entertainment, exclusively told RadarOnline.com: “The rumors are not true. Not sure who the source was but they are wrong. All is good in their relationship”

Access Hollywood was able to get in touch with Jada Pinkett Smith’s rep, who could have easily shut this rumor down only said “[Jada] has nothing to say right now” Access Hollywood did remind us of a time back in 2008 when Will Smith told Ellen Degeneres “Divorce is not and option” :

“What I found is divorce just can’t be an option. It’s really that simple. And I think that’s the problem with L.A. – there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options.”

Hopefully we will get a real statement from Will and Jada if not from their reps letting us know that this is truly just false.
