Let me start by saying, I’m going to need you people in Kent to stop acting crazy like that because that’s right up the street from me keep that mess in Tacoma!

With that being said:

Thanks to what seems like a pointless man ego type argument, there was twelve people injured after a huge shooting broke out yesterday [Saturday July 23, 2011] afternoon in Kent Washington [on Pac Highway] during a La Raza low-rider car show and concert. Witnesses are saying the argument was started over one man telling another man that he had a crapy paint job on his car.

“I was out there chilling with a friend and somebody started dissing somebody else’s paint job. And then some people came up together and then started started gangbangin’,” said Harrison who witnessed this bafoonery

Another witness by the same of Trish Harvey said:

“I saw a lot of people running everywhere, running across the street, then the cops showed up,”

A man inside a near by Subway is saying he noticed a good 200-300 people at the La Raza low-rider car show and concert when the shooting started. The man said as soon as he started to see people running he heard a good 10-12 gunshots, and started to bring people nearby inside the Subway and locked the doors, he’s better then me because I just would have dipped to the back.

One other witness said it looked like two groups of people were arguing and then someone pulled out a gun as if that would make things any better SMH.

According to Kent police spokesman Sgt. Jarod Kasner once they arrived there was several different “suspects” running off the scene and some even hopped in cars [which is what they all should have done], but what ever they used to get away, it worked because the Kasner is saying they dont know how many of them ran off, OR the make or descriptions of the cars they left in:

“It is unknown what caused this confrontation to abruptly escalate from a fight to a shooting,” Kasner said.

Kasner also said ‘the drama began when a fight broke out among some of the people at the car show’ and that there was 12 people shot,  however that’s evident so its really not telling us anything. But not to my surpise the cops wont say what the argument was about, but I can bet you big money that they know. The only thing that Kasner said that can really give you some insight on what went down and how it went down is that the fight may have been somehow “gang-related,” and that gang detectives have been called in for the investigation.

Eight of the victims was rushed off to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, at least two people drove themselves, and one victim may have been shot way more then once.

The eight victims are from 14 to 32 years old:

“…two boys, aged 14 and 17; four men, aged 21, 26, 30 and 32; and two women, aged 23 and 29. All are now listed in satisfactory condition…”

I’ll try to keep yall updated on this disappointment in the Kent area, lets be real, we are better then this Seattle and yall have just been acting like the dictionary definition of MESSY! I dont know what’s going around here. I dont know if people are lacing their weed with stuff they shouldn’t be or what, but whatever the case is yall need to STOP IT. I saw a man get straight up robbed downtown in brad daylight! WHO DOES THAT. So what?? You telling me I cant even walk around downtown without wondering if someone is going to jack me for my stuff now??? SMH this dont make no since. What ever the case is, mess like this is why I say home now a days LOL.
